The l33t Programming Language PDF Print E-mail
Written by Eric Redmond

The l33t Programming Language by Stephen McGreal and Alex Mole is yet another esoteric language. This one takes the form of instructions masquerading as l33t Sp34k. Come check out my COMPLETE Ruby interpreter for l33t!

The following is the first ever functioning program written in l33t. It loops forever, printing all 255 ASCII characters, and takes the form of a short insulting rant about geeks:

<code>
ph34r my l3Et 5kIlLZ!!!!!!
nErDs 41n't cool 3v3ry1!!!
y0u b1g g33kS r teh g33kY sux0rs!
PHE4R! LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!
</code>

In any case, the interpreter that the creaters, uh, created was incomplete, missing an implementation for the 9th instruction CON. It was also implemented in python, which I do not have. So I did one in Ruby. Here is the code for the my l33t interpreter. No, its here. Hey, I wonder what crappy joke language I could learn next...?

Download the l33t interpreter. its t3h k3wl!!!1
